We remove trees, brush, and undergrowth, then grub the stumps and roots below the surface with an excavator and haul off or mulch the debris on site. Why Grubbing Below Grade Matters

Cutting brush at ground level is not clearing. Left in place, stumps and root balls rot, settle, and leave voids under a slab or driveway. Grubbing pulls the roots out below grade so the fill that follows compacts evenly and the finished surface holds. It is the difference between a stable pad and a callback.

Our Process

We flag the clearing limits, file the 811 locate, and set silt fence and erosion blankets before the first tree comes down so sediment stays on the lot per the SWPPP. Then we clear, grub, and either grind the material into mulch or haul it off, leaving a clean site ready for topsoil stripping and grading.
